Rubina Nargis is a prominent Bangladeshi visual artist whose practice bridges contemporary painting with cross-cultural artistic dialogue. Her work explores the intersections of tradition and modernity, often drawing upon themes rooted in South Asian identity, social commentary, and aesthetic experimentation.
Nargis received her academic training at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka, one of the most prestigious art institutions in Bangladesh. She earned both her Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) and Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) degrees there, developing a strong foundation in painting and visual composition that continues to inform her evolving artistic language. |
